Had a chance to watch one very majestic creation soar among the treetops in search of lunch today.

A few of the fam from our recent trip to the tall pines area of walnut woods metro park. Such a neat little gem for those in the columbus area.

Caught this beautiful cardinal coming in for a landing. I give credit to the photographers who get captures like this for a living. I have about one thousand bird pictures and about 5 of those I would consider "usable". Definitely a game of patience.

Explored a new to me park just south of Columbus. Beautiful scenery and just a short walk from the parking area. I imagine that in the right light, and the right time of day, this area would seem otherworldly. I can't wait to explore it in different seasons as well.

Come hell or high water. Don't let yourself make excuses. Get out of your own way, and get it done.

Sometimes the dull shades of brown that populate the landscape in winter in the mid-west is treated with a burst of sunlight, adding much appreciated contrast to an otherwise drab scene.
