I'm always surprised (no idea why at this point) at how every level of focus in nature provides stunning results. From massive vistas to macro shots, there is never a loss for shots.

When you wander into a dream, do you play along?

Couldn't help myself. I found this little fern catching some early morning rays under a half dozen tall pines. I'm guessing it has to get what it can before the sun gets too high.

I know I know. You don't even have to say it. Yes, there is a much better composition here than what I snapped. There are reasons I didn't adjust that I won't go into now. Suffice it to say I will be back.

Started my weekend with an 8:30 tee-time, and this is what greeted me when I arrived at the course. I must say, mornings like this one really have a way of putting things into perspective. Despite the current political dumpster fire, this really is a magnificent time to be alive. Whether or not the world is about to come to an end...I wouldn't know such things. What I do know is that each day we are alive, we have an opportunity to make this world just a smidgen better than it was before. Let's strive for that.

Needed help testing a new lighting setup. I think my daughter understood the assignment well.
